~Ach, git off our land! Ariadna Overview and Tactica~

4th in the series of overviews, a brief intro to the armies of infinity.

ARIADNA: BRITISH, FRENCH AND RUSSIAN REDNECKS IN SPAAAAACCCEEE

Long before the rise of the human sphere, humanity sent out a huge contingent of settler ark-ships, mostly populated by the poorest westernized countries. In Infinity, this is America, england, france and russia. All the old superpowers have fallen to the wayside in the new world order; their economies have crashed or fallen in internecine battles.
So this huge ship full of americans, scots, british, french and russian colonists jump through a new wormhole, and land on a hostile planet, pretty much a proto-deathworld. It is full of this weird hive mind race of humanoid wolves that mate by biting females of the other tribes in big 'rape' attacks. The humans start suffering attacks from this species they name the Antipodes, and human women are infected by Antipode bites, which causes them to give birth to WEREWOLVES. Yeah, its kinda silly, but huge scottish werewolves wielding claymores? Heck yeah.
The Ariadnes are extremely tech-luddite. They have little in the way of anything remotely high-tech or mechlike, but they do have Teseum, a superlight and supertough metal that is only found on their one world. So Ariadna trades that for goods and services from the superpowers, and has lots of mercs and military raiding forces created out of teseum blood money.

Peoples of Ariadna:

The Scotts: Tough, crazy, and the most welcoming (which is not much )to dogmen (the mutts created from antipode bites), a shock and awe army.



The French Merovingians: More about mass troops, viral weapons (a bit) these would be the closest to today's forces.



The Russians: Don't have their own sectorials, yet, but some cools figs.
