I lkke the option being.presented.. but way possessed? Termies, bikes/raptors.. that would be so much more useful anf even .. logical?

The warehouse must be exploding with possessed boxes since they havent sold any in 10 years. A point drop would have helped more im thinking.

I'll have to take a closer look at the entry when I get home, but from what I remember 3+/5++ with nothing to overwatch with isn't really better than 3+/4++ that can't overwatch. Can possessed take anything other than marks and an icon? If you could get some tech into squad, I'd certainly be a lot more interested in it, especially given that possessed have a pretty kit.

The sarge can buy two gifts of mutation.

Also, the unit gets shred, poison, or ap3 in close combat.  They're also base S5 and A2

Edit: I'm dodging this book, completely not interested (even though I like the concept of possessed) I want my "Book of Tzeentch".

Scoring Helbrutes, and I'm in. Counts-as troops is not enough. (although a 9 walker army is appealing)

9 walkers? 3 from Elites, 3 from Heavies; where do the last 3 come from?

mark options maybe? would be cool to have them actually fit the theme of an army.

vets book might just be vaporware or an early copy of black legion that got nixxed.

pretty much given up on rumours that arn't a week from release. is it just me or is faeit just churning the same 3 rumours in a circle each week lately? ever since escalation came out i've just been annoyed every time i hit up his site.

I think we're entering a time when GW has put a fairly tight lid on releases. We may start seeing false leads and weird release schedules because no info is coming out.

Got a sneak peek at the new wd. No word on special rules for hell brutes, but implication that relics might mess with them.

I'm not sure about that possessed chart. Turning into a beast at the beginning of the fight sub phase?

I'm thinking if that chart is legit, it would have to kick in at the start of the turn, lasting until the start of next turn.

Ya. If it is at the start of the turn, lasting until the next one it would be a pretty good chart.

I cant remember the new codex.. but last codex it was a roll at the beginning f the game. Spawn are every fight phase.. are new possessed every phase to or at the beginning of the game? Im to laslzy to go.look.

Becoming Beasts on every fight sub phase is useless. I have to believe you roll at the beginning of the game like the old one. This is exciting though.. I ve got 9 possessed with rending claws.. .. !

This table actually makes the mark of Khorne not a bad investment. Chance for Beasts or rending claws is awesome.. Geez, iff you know they're beasts at the beginning of the game they can hang out with Jugger Lord..

I am liking what Im hearing about Crimson Slaughter so far and its just snippets still.. I want to hear more about the relics.

I am somewhat wondering if the new chaos starter box reflects the operations of the new codex at all, especially with the content being shown in the colours of the chapter. If nothing else, though, the box rings in at $245 CND, and the component parts are worth $308, so at least we have confirmation that GW *can* make a bundle deal when they want to.

Oh! When I looked at it, it looked like it was the same. I must've missed a box.

That's a free Forgefiend (bringing me up to the three I've always wanted to play....) I might snag this box.

Thats a good deal.. the components for the cromson slaughter box came out exactly to retail.. at like 338.75 or something.

3 forgefiends would really provide a problem.. oo.. especially with a 20 point divination caster upgrade coming down.

I am really excited about getting a jugger lord with itnd and a 2+ save. Hopefully theres a new daemon weapon in there..im assuming a good chance you cant take the super axe with that.
