is a truck list viable with a void shield genarator?

just think the void shield might give you enought defence to get the trucks boys / nobs into CC

i was just thinking 3 AR 12 trucks that don't blow up boys for 100 pts is a prety good deal since reg trucks are 35 points each

Slip in a KFF into there for some extra saves on the trucks once they get through the shields.

With your list if someone has enough shooting to kill more than a truck or two a couple of shields probably won't slow them down.

Fun fact though, they stop markerlights completely.

I don't believe so, as it is models that get saves, and the projected shield is not a model, it is the active effect of a separate and distinct model that is not being targeted.
