Anyone else follow Blood Angels?

Bored @ work and thinking...
I hope that in the re-vamp that they once again allow Sanguinary Priests to lead the Death Company...
Right now Chaplains give the Death company Rerolls on Hits/wounds on the turn they charge into combat. Thinking it would be neat if Preists also gave a similar rule, but maybe just "to hit rolls" or something. I dunno... lol. Like I said, Im bored at work.

It will definitely be interesting to see how they'll power up all the old codexes to be on par with today's. When it was released it was the cheese of the week, I wonder if that will happen again. Wait, this is GW... Of course it will!

One release rumour has the Blood Angels about the 4th or 5th codex out. If I remember correctly....

This is currently very true, deepstrike in and shoot some melta's, then whoever lives gets to assault.

I cannot make a regular save on berserkers to save my life. Oh.. 6 wounds from.bolters.. 5 dead. Thats a normal outcome these days. I can only plan for them to do one thing all game..

Onto Blood Angels though.. it would be nice to see a push into a nice assault answer in 6th. If anyones gonna have hope now.. its the blood angels.

I lkke Mikes ideas.. nut lets add:

Assaults off of accurate deep strikes
Challenges against specific characters that cany be denied.. (bye herald with grimoire!)

Sounds like my terminators when I use them... 6 wounds from bolters... 2+ save.... 4 die.... *sigh*

And I hope they get a neat warlord trait, not a crappy "why would he have that" one...

275pts of 3wnd T4 crapness and you can't even join him to a squad. Model is cool tho.
OR Astorath not sucking (im sensing a theme here)... 220pts, and removes the 0-1 form death company.... Nice... Like they can score already.... If you take any more than 1 of those squads you are gimping yourself, as none of them are scoring. OH, but can can force your opponent to re-roll successful Invul. saves... Oh... but its an ax, so he goes last and will most likely die before he can swing that ax...

I'd like to see Dante have Eternal warrior too. Take a rule away from him to add it... seems weird that he has survived and lead the angels for 1100+ years.... only to die in 1 hit to a sarg with a Power fist :S

I imagine all your special characters will get a facelift to bring them up to par.

Ya....I have heard similar complaints about BA special characters. Oh...look at Dante's Init....but it doesn't matter cause he has an Axe....goes last. :-(

I hope they can do something to keep the BA assault squads decent. That was the reason I liked BA....Assault guys are troops. It allowed for nice flexibility in the troop choices.

I don't know what they could do to for BA assault to be scary again. FNP on the assault?? Take your snap shot loses at the end of assault phase (The guys are still "dead" but get their CC attacks in before they die)?? Who knows. Hopefully they think of something interesting that does not allow for abuse.

How's this then: assault off the deep strike and any character with a certain special rule strikes with unwieldy weapons at normal initiative? That would be fairly crazy. They will still need a serious points reduction at current meta though. :S
