black legion ideas

Looking for some input on a black legion list.

What I've got to work with

Daemon prince
Twrmie lord
Termie sorcerer
Fabulous bile
3x chaos lord

2x mm helbrutes
5 Termies
7 chosen
3x7 plague marines
8 zerkers

2x10 chaos marines
25 cultists (about 50/50 cc autogun split)

5 bike
Buying a dark talon to convert to a counts as heldrake

2x defilers
3x5 havocs
12 oblits

Looking to make a pure BL, no allies. Would rather not go all marked, but I'm open to ideas

well. all of the black legion rules kinda suck except for the relics. So two ways you can play it.

So, load up on a nurgle lord so you can field those plaguers as troops, throw down a lv 4 Daemon prince with last memory and the eternal warrior relic. put oblits on the table cuz you want to give those VotLw anyway, and smash faces.

....

or embrace the fluff termies, Marines and havocs shoot em up.


I don't recommend hellbrutes or defilers in 6th for either army.

Yeah, I tried them when the basic codex dropped. Wasn't pretty.

Im tending to think termie sorcerer, loaded. Termies, chosen/csm as troops (maybe cultists as we'll), drake and bikers, and oblits.

I don't expect it to eat face, it'd just be nice to field something without being tabled...

Chosen in a land raider with Plasma or Melta is pretty fun looking. You can have 5 special weapons in a chosen unit.

This might be the playable list for now (itll be a converted Dark Talon and some tinkering for the Asp. Champs). I don't think its gamebreaking but I'm hoping its decent...

Spell Familiar on your Sorcerer, or else you'll be a sad panda. I almost lost mine to Mike in the tourney, would have without the familiar. If you fail a test using the last memory, your psyker is removed as a casualty.
