Why? Because today is a nice day, and p3 primer happens to work when it's this warm out.

So I primed about 100 models going through a full can of both black and white primer.

About friggen time, was getting fed up with my hordes of grey and silver lol. My marines (and tyranids) should be approaching "painted" status next week.

Aha. Nice Alex. I am so lucky to have a shed that is ment for painting, so even if it's -40 outside I can still prime.( not trying to brag)

hmm, I thought primer didn't work at -40 which is why I had to wait for this weather. the cold in and of itself doesn't bother me, but my poor models...

anyway, with most of the primer drying off in the other room (man does it stink) I toyed around with some basing schemes and found one I really like for my marines. I'll bother with pictures when I find my camera...

oh, and test scheme (plus other pictures) of my tyranids thus far:

Changed that album to encompass everything. Click to view progress, including some basework, some beheaded then re-headed marines, and of course, everyone's least favourite colour scheme, salamander green complete with over-exposure and incorrect lighting!
