Allied in Farsight.

Riptide has heavy burst cannon and smart missiles.

Earlier version had the hit-and-run engines on the commander and had him hidden in the Guardian blob, but... then they can't battlefocus... so ya.

Who does the Commander join for fun times? Maybe the Riptide?

List was dynamite vs my BT. Although failing as many 2+ saves as I did was not fun times. Need a rematch!

farsight and his drop squad of death is just mean man. Just nasty. I faced a squad of 3 last night with farsight, all with double plasma. Not cool man, not cool.

As mark has put it, crisis suits can be configured to shore up almost any weakness. Farsight is basically a 40k supa band aid.

I'm not taking the no-scatter-deepstrike unit, although it's pretty cool.

Suits are T4, Guardian blob is T3.

The suits are nice 'cause I can deepstrike 'em within 9" of a tank and kill it with 6 fusion shots.

4-plasma shots per suit would be very killy (that's a lot of S6 AP2 shooting), especially with Markerlight support.

I do like Farsight, but I'm taking just a plain-jane commander (yay Talisman... take that Tokar, and your Hallucination casting).
