Ravenwing Banner Trick

I know I heard people talking about doing that back when the book first came out. Kind of surprised that people are still being surprised by it.

It's a cute trick.

Might be nice if you're using it with the Hurricane Bolter fliers

back then, and still today, it sounds like someone is investing a tonne of points in... bolter shots. whos afraid of bolter shots?

People like me who fail four out of six 2+ armor saves. Right Dan   stupid Forgefiends.....

Pretty sure everything AV10 or T7 and lower is afraid of 100+ twin-linked Bolter shots...like Aeg mentioned a person can fail saves and heaven help you if you're playing an army who doesn't have 2+ saves (Orks, Nids, DEldar, etc.).

Greenwing and/or Ravenwing with the Banner is finally making some noise as people, besides Wave Serpent Eldar, continue to move away from transports and go foot-based or hybrid. I wonder if this would put a little fear into castle Tau...

24 Twin-Linked Bolter Shots for each pair of Hurricane Bolters is pretty devastating. 21.3 hits, 10-11 wounds, that's two failed 2+ saves.

Only thing with mounted up lists is their still only viable for Eldar and Necrons, everyone else's transports suck.
