I like it, but the only response to AV 14 I can see is a single lascannon plus a Multi-Melta, and glancing with Psy-Riflemen.

Maybe try inserting a few more lascannon monkeys somewhere?

Adam's right, can you give someone melta-bombs? Assault cannons can do it with luck (S6+6 on a D6+D3 == 13,14,15)

Those are str 7 assault cannons, due to psybolt, so the rends go 14, 15, 16. I can see how that is a bit low, especially given how I can't bank on the lance strike.

Its a nice chang up from the norm which is always good in my eyes.
