1750 Angels of Death Empty 1750 Angels of Death

Because I am bored I made this list up so I could use my DA and BA together...
Been since 2nd Ed. that the two have made it together...


Sammael Corvex 200
Ravenwing Cmd x3 Blade of Caliban, Ravenwing standard, grenade launcher, Apothecary 170

Ravenwing Bikes x6 PW, 2 PG 206
Attack Bike Multi Melta 55

Librarian 100
Reclusiarch Infernus Pistol 145

Cleatus (Furioso) Frag Cannon, Hvy Flmr 135

Sorry about the bad format, but it conveys the message. Its weak against Flyers, but what isn't...
And I dont have any DA tacticals, otherwise I would buy a squad of those and give flakk... Hmm... DA devs instead of BA... hmmm

Might also drop the Libby too and use that 100pts on something... DA tacticals maybe, if I can procure a bunch... Blast, DV tacts only have Plasma Cannons... Bullocks

if you pop the libby over to the DA codex, then he's a 65pt libby, and pay 35pts to let him have 2 powers per turn. that way you dont lose your psyker power access, but he's better all around and you get access to divination, which is probably the only pool that nearly all the powers rock. since you have 1 hq in both armies already, that might be the better codex to pluck him out of. havent checked the BA statline in a while, but i think the DA one might have better stats too.

Yeah, thought about that but with an allied detachment you can only have 1 hq, and Sammael takes that spot nicely. Also the BA libby can take divination.

Well other than the HQ restriction I don't see why you can't make the DA the main army and use BA allies?

edit: also i count just two drop pods? no way to massage the points for a 3 to get 2 in on turn 1?

Fair enough. Also other than the Multi-melta attack bike AV14 might give you a hard time. Especially if it is holding something nasty like Kharn. On the upside I wouldn't worry about all of the fliers except the Helldrake. The rest of them you should be able to mostly avoid and they won't have meaningful impact. The Helldrake does love to bbq marines. I still haven't seen a good way to shoot them down except for vendettas.... Crying or Very sad

Good point. Thinking about dropping librarian and picking up the land speeder to add to that ravenwing bike squad. Thinking typhoon/multi melta... What are thoughts on tornado speeder? Any good variants worth taking...?
