We'll I've been kicking around the idea of an Vostroyan army for some time. As many of you know I'm a Fantasy guy, but I'd like to get this army together so that I can get to know some of you and join in on some games.

So without further yadda yadda here is my first test model....what do you think?

Looks really good. I like the white, should make a cool scheme for the vostroyan figs. The base is really cool too.......probably because it is ROUND!!

Welcome to the board Carson.
Looks really good, i think the base and the face are my favorite bits... the eyes are very well done. Im curious actually, what did you use to base him?

Thanks, actually the Bronze armour looks quite a bit better in natural light as well. I'm often disappointed with the look of some models when photographed.

The skin is tanned flesh with dwarven skin highlights. Base is slate and gravel, then glued a small piece of plati-card "steel beam" that I picked up from hobby world.

Hey Carson, he looks great. And good timing to, the guard are getting a new codex by the end of the year. You might have a full army painted in time for the codex! I know those guardsmen take a long time to get done, but sure look good on the table.

Keep up the good look.
