The Dark Angels advance order selection is up! So about 2 weeks till the codex drops!

It's official: The super landspeeder thing is completely unsalvageable in my eyes. If I take it, it's gonna need some kind of new model or scratchbuild. I dig the fighters though, will just need a little bit of tweaking.

I have to say, having a better look at the Vengance, I like the stained glass window thing it has going. I'm sure that with some time I could make something more appealing out of it. I'd probably start by getting rid of it's tiers, flattening it out somewhat.

The fighter I'll be getting. The command squads are nice, but hardly necessary. I may grab a box of each simply for funsies. I WANT POINT VALUES!

I'll pick up the book. We'll see after that. Terminator models are nice, I like the fliers too. Stasis Bomb for -3 WS & I make for some interesting synergy. I'm leary of the points cost though.

I dont know weather to hope that they used the same power/cost ratios as the chaos book and a new order is ushered in, or to cheer for something that will be on par with necrons and GK so that people have alternatives.

Those models....yeeesh. The shark is currently being jumped.

There are a bunch of DA upgrade sprues at the den. Grab 2 and a CSM squad, and Cypher. BOOM, fallen.

DW are slightly more expensive. My typ 4 squads rang in +30 points total. My Mortis dreads are now 5 pts cheaper, but lose Skyline/Interceptor.

I am willing to bet Belail is around 200 pts. Hoping there is something to take a cheap DIY capt to unlock them as troops.

Yeah, unless i strike it rich or gwt them as gifts im not picking up the new stuff... Gw's killing the hobby by having everytbing cost too much.

The flyer is okish in price.

You are paying for the plasma cannon in the DW box. And the Knight bits. Other than that its more or less existing bit.

Can we just all agree the LS Derp doesn't exist? Kit bash, whatever, but just ignore the actual kit. THat's possibly the ugliest model ever done.

PS: IN the WD battle report they were very "meh" on the Vengeance. Despite the size, it's AV 10/2hp. So if you make one, be sure to put a big bullseye on it.

I like that the site suggests that you buy 5 boxes at once as an option.

is there a bulk rate on those or is it just a marketing ploy?

Or ravenwing? RAVENwing still going to be stupid costed because of the teleport homers and scout that they had in old dex (120pts for 3 un-upgraded bikes, with option to buy 3 more for 100) is stupid pricey.....

I now know EXACTLY what I am doing to the DA fighter when I get my hands on it. Just a small change completely changed up the lines of the model

nope. he photoshopped the bottome half of the tailfin off. there's supposed to be an upper and lower tail fin, and then the 2 dinky fins on the sides of the tail.

it does make the tail 'look' longer and sleeker that way.
