Space Marine Bike Captain

So i am creating a biker captain for an Allied detachment of Space Marines and im looking for your thoughts.
Not sure what Chapter to make him from yet.

like the extra armour, that was creative. i wouldn't give him an Init 1 weapon though. take a Relic Blade and Storm Shield instead. your captain will be picked out for challenges so you'll want to take advantage of his I5 instead of slapping a weapon on him that makes him strike last. plus, relic blades are AP 3, so not too many things will get armour saves.

i used a relic blade biker captain in 5th for a while, sometimes with/without the shield, and he did fairly well, but now they're better with the challenge rules. you'll hit most things on 3+, wound on 2+, good chance of no armour save, and he will need 5's or 6's to wound you unless he opted for the weapon that strikes last. give him artificer armour too. and if you dont take the shield, always take the armor. it helps alot in 6th to be a 2+ guy in challenges.

apart from that, the model looks nice; got a behind shot to show what you did for the rear?

I also like the model and since he's riding a bike why not go for a bike chapter like the white scares and since he is armed with a fist use him as an outflank tank hunter supported by a squad of bikes. And at mike, (sorry mat for the side track) sometimes jacking the quipment is not always a good choice he could have an idea for his usage when he created such model, don't grt me wrong I do see your point in weapons choice but he did mention its an allied captain, that is all. Now back to our regular show, I to mat would like to see what else you did to him, maybe even try looking at wolves as an allie they are a little more pricy but they may have what you are looking for

My intentions were to have him in Artificer Armor for sure. Now im envisioning a captain america shield on the front of the bike... Grrr

I thought of White Scars as my biker compliment, but my plan was to paint my bikes as ravenwing to ramp out for new codex. But i also own a storm talon, which if rumors are true, Dark Angels dont get... So i need to find a suitable marine chapter to complement my Angels...
