Cultists

Looking for cultists from DV. Dollahs or chaos Marines to trade.

I heard that Cultist bawkses will be coming out and priced similarly to grots. Or if you're building a zombie horde, you can buy zombies.

Id like to pick up some zombies.. But GW zombies are so ugly. The new skeletons were great.. They really need to update that old box

The Mantic zombies look pretty swanky. Looks like they're just under a $1 a piece.

I have been eyeing them up.. They do look good.

For Zombies,i have 30 zombies from 1998 that i'm using. models were still new in box with the shrink wrap in-tact. purchased them from Tim back in the day to start up an undead army.

I'm actually using the GW cultists models as IG traitor vets.

So far i've only come up with crap lists that include Actual CMS cultists.

The Den has bags of 100 zombies, at a very similar scale to 40k for $10.99-$13.99 depending on if you want glow in the dark or not. After that, you just need bases.

if your making traitor guard, my e-bay sellers i get all my FW stuff from have the following up:
renegade militia conversion kit $17
renegade militia command $34
(20) renegade militia conversion kit torsos & heads $33

they're all reliable sellers and average about 3 weeks airmail to get here.

also just found this gem:

that's about $130 cheaper than buying it from forgeworld.

Yeah.. But those are zombies from the board game... Zombies. They have very little detail, are smaller and.. I dont think should be used for 40k.

I dont mind seeing the odd mini from a company if it fits.and looks good.. But i would not be happy if somwone olunked down a bag full of glow in the dark zombies...

I just dont like the gw ones because of the oversized heads and big.monstrous hands

The mantic ones are the same scale and are modelled nicely..

Mostly just using them for allies. no interest in playing IG on thier own. The only actual IG models i'll use are some catachan heavy weapons teams and certain... fast attack choices. the catachan can look very chaos-y if you use the same paint scheme as your cultist models.

The DV cultists are really nice models and i think they will fit nicely for what i'm doing with them. I just wish they didnt have so much flesh showing =x

For Cc cultists.. You cant beat chaos marauders. Ive got a whole schwack Im trying to get onto round bases.

still looking for 2-3 sets of cultists from DV. the rest of the chaos stuff in DV i dont want/need.

Wish the units were universally useful like the AOBR kit was.

I might be persuaded to part with my close-combat cultists... not 100% sure yet. That 5-dude box for $12 isn't the worst deal in the world. If you're doing zombies, the mantic zombies are super good. Edit: Circular discussion is Circular.

The 5 man box is good for one thing. Filling out the missing dudes when you buy extra DV cultists.

I have a feeling they are meant to be like the 3 man SM boxes or the 4 Boy sprues you can get.

I have the entire Chaos side of DV all based but not primed, some conversions (cool gribblies, a banner of chaos) that I would be willing to part with.
