There's some cool things you can do with Orks in 6th, one is snap-fire'ing your shoota boyz from your battlewagon. mmmm 42 shots at BS1

BUT.

You can no-longer disembark your troops from a vehicle that moved more than 6" in a turn.

Furious Charge no-longer grants +1 Initiative.

I think Orks stand to gain the most from all this Snap Fire/Overwatch stuff. I mean, sure, there are armies with very impressive guns (IG and Tau both pop to mind), but just the sheer volume the Orks bring to the table as they normally rock BS2, it's going to be scary.

I think it was Adam that said it, Assaulting 15 Burna Boyz doesn't work out so well now. 15D3 S4 AP5 HITS. Yikes. Sounds good on paper, sux in practice. Why assault paper thin burna's when you can simply shoot them. Also, with slightly squishier vehicles...

I think this also answers the earlier question of "when would you shoot your Skortcha in the enemy turn?" quite nicely.

If it's Move-Assualt-Shoot now, I guess it would make sense for them to want to encourage melee to start up faster now.

Poor Tau, this isn't going to be their edition from what I know about them.

No, it's Move->Shoot->Assault still.

In the case of a vehicle, it moves 6" in the movement phase, in the shooting phase it can move again (which changes its shooting options), then assaults happen after that.

Not sure how Walkers work with that.

As a note, I saw there is no 2" disembark anymore. You deploy next to access points and then get your 6" move as normal.
