tyranid spore chimneys

Hey yeall, i know most of you havent been around long enough to remember this, but at some time in the distant past GW put out a white dwarf that showed a tutorial on how to make tyranid spore chimneys out of pink foam. They were those claw like things that stuck up out of the ground. I was wondering if anyone had the white dwarf with that article. I think i will make some for the mcragge table if i can figure out how it was done.

Have you tried checking the GW UK site? I betcha there is a link or something under 40k terrain articles, or even in the tyranid army section. Also have you ever checked out terragenesis.forgetwhat? It's a really cool terrain building site that could surely help you out. There's pro builders on there as well as lots of newbs. A good enough mix that you can ask even the simplest questions and get good honest answers, They truly appear to be altruistic and non elitist. A real good site!

Why don't you just buy the forgeworld ones? If I recall they were only about 30# each, and I bet a table would look good with no more than 12-14 on it? And free shipping too!!!!
