April 2012 1500 POINT TEAM TOURNAMENT

Bump. 1st post updated w/lists that are in. I'll be able to go over them starting tonight to check for any errors. Just a reminder, you are responsible for bringing 2 copies of your list.

Tom/Planes: 750 pts?

Yep, I was planning on giving that tourney list a quick run.

750 points on either side of the field, Necrons vs Deathwing. The mission in question was, of all things, "Tomb World".




I managed to get a few early kills, but in the end the Terminator armor and ordinance support was just too much for my Immortals and Barge. End points was Beau's 14 to my 3. I'm guessing that forgetting my reserve roll on turn two (and my ability to jack a deep strike on turn one) didn't exactly help, but that is just me getting used to fielding my Deathmarks still. At least I remembered my turn one solar pulse this time!

Considering I finished with the Vindi and 2 Termi's, It could have been ALOT different. Both your Immortal squads failing Ldship the same turn was bad,.

Your Deathmarks would have dropped on turn 1 w/ the Deathwing Assault correct? You very easily could have dropped behind my Vindi and popped it.

All I really needed for a tie was one more unsaved wound on a Termy, keeping you from grabbing that point. I think I know what my biggest mistake was there (barring my forgetting special rules), but I won't mention it until after the tourney.
