Games week of Dec 5th

Looking for league game this week. Can play @ 6 at the Den W,Th, F but would prefer to host @ my place after 8 or play @ the Den late on Friday. I can bring Ultramarines, Ultramarines 1st company (counts as DW), or the crappiest Chaos Marine list you've ever seen.

I don't know, I've seen some pretty crappy chaos marine lists...

I'm rather proud of that bike squad that brings nothing to the table myself.

Given that the original list was for 4th and made right after I started playing, I'm amazed at how almost NOTHING works well in it.

The Termie and Lord, w/ no transport, and no icons to lock onto.

The Zerkers w/ the Power Sword Champ.

The squad that didnt get the memo that they are chaos, and are doing an impression of a tactical squad.

So, 1850 points. Most powerful gun: str4. Nothing that can shoot or fight. No real speed. One threatening unit (scarabs). Well done sir!

i think the point is to generate a huge scarab swarm by adding bases to it with the spiders and just run from vehicle to vehicle eating everyone.

I'm sure it would catch a couple guys off guard, but its defintly very gimmicky and i doubt you would catch anyone a second time with it.

I think you'd have to start with a group that knew each other. Perhaps be a little arbitrary with some comp rules, and then have prizes for worst list and worst general, etc. Have some thematic scenarios about some incompetent commander on some backwater planet being thrust into action because some other incompetent idiot accidentally broke a treaty or something. Could be a fun day.

Edit: You know what, screw the comp rules. Just have eveyone bring what they think is the worst list they can field and have a player's choice for worst army. Make that the biggest prize. That would be cool because a lot of the "good" players don't bother getting the crap entries in their codex so they would probably struggle to field a poorly designed list. Then make all of the other prizes for dubious achievements like the aforementioned worst general.
