Beau and I played a slobberknocker of a game today at the Den. I can't tell you more because we were using our top-secret tournament lists. But both armies were really nasty and played by seasoned experts. We tied the primary and Beau squeezed out the secondary. Woe betide the next poor sap who has to face our might!

What were you both seasoned experts in? From playing against both of you I'm going to guess the Mesozoic Era!

Sounds like a decent game, I'll have to play test some of my young whipper snapper lists against you steely eyed seasoned experts to see if they really don't make them like they used to.

was getting those distracting texts from the wife and was losing my focus.

If we had played as Seize Ground/Spearhead, I think you'd have won, (You'd have had the objective in your zone, and we'd have contested the one in the center. Of course, we'd have been playing a lot differently also. Close game either way, and the carnage, THE CARNAGE. That was a lot of dead plastic on the board.

@Tom: OH NO YOU DIENT!!!! Now you done pissed off my baldspot!!! BTW, the tournament is on Sunday the 21st, so you could Folkfest AND 40K. I know, it's like playing D&D at vacation bible school, but the possibility is there.

My being put on notice has been noted. I will make a note in my notebook. On that note, I'll happily throw down again with one of you so called "seasoned vets" at some point, I've been itching for another 40k game these days.

I currently am in need of some one with a valid drivers license. 12 an hr, hours are long but unless you piss me off you get to work with some kickass equipment.

The real rate of pay is actually $24.50/hr.. However, James takes 51% of your wage.

Back to the OP:

Then my Tyranids have officially challenged Tim's and Beau's Marines to a deathmatch. Consider them landing on your planet and start pilfering anything in sight. They dare you to stop them.

Mike and I played to a hard fought draw. He was two game-ends rolls away from a victory, but also a couple cover and armour saves away from a tabling. Draw was probably a fair result. Regardless it was a good scrap.

Mike does like getting hard with guys. Make sure his scraps aren't prison shower rules! Matt already fell for that one...
