Been doing some moc battles with the few GK I have and I would lose the halberds and the rhino. yes you lose the 2+ I but you also lose an attack. and with the rhino you do lose your mobility. But From what I have see you will be a LOT better if you put your strike squad in cover. Use your Lib with the summoning power to move then around. Lose the Dread and the Vin and use a full squad of Intercceptors, Psycannon them out. Also put Demon Hammers on the Justicar and Master Craft it. Been watch'en YouTube and that seems to be doing okay

why do you lose an attack for taking a halberd? I'm debating the interceptors but they seem so costly for what they do.

I dont think theres any reason to take a strike squad unless you plan on using a teleporting army all around, and plan your whole force for that.

The librarian is going to be an awesome choice for Grey Knight armies. I think thats one of the main problems.. is that the HQ choices are all pretty good. but also expensive. I think Warp RIft is a fantastic power.. its template.. so pretty close but its an automatic penetrating hit. MIght of Titan and Shrouding are also amazing powers. If yhour going to take a librarian, you might as well pay the extra 5 points a power and take a few.. considering he has psyker mastery 2.. thats two powers a turn.. 2 powers eachplayer turn. THings like shrouding you use at the beginning your opponents assault phase.. so take full advantage of those phases and being able to cast on opponents turns.

Dreadknights are good.. not much more you have to say about that. I dont htink the guns are that good.. Ive got one, but all Imgoing to give him is a sword.. and thats pretty much it. I might think about trying the incinerator out a bit.. but I dont like the psycannon and the gatling psylencer looks neat.. but Im not convinced its worth the big points. I think keeping them cheap is the ticket. Let them absorb some shooting and if they die.. no big deal.

All Grey knights should have a rhino or razorback if you go that way. For your cheap points.. youve got something that at the very least can block line of sight to the knights form some nastier guns. Plus.. they can shake off stunned/shaken .. good stuff.

However, for a 1000 points list.. youve got alot of points tied up into 3 models..libby, vindii and dread. THe vindicare is easily yhe best assassin.. the others just sort of suck now. I used to love the callidus, especially for her word in your ear.. but thats gone and she no longer gets to assault the turn she comes in.. so.. she gets to sit there for a turn looking stupid.

At 1000 points, I like the libby with a few more buffing powers. Strike Squad and terminators are fine.. but you relaly need another scoring unit in there I think. You could lose the guns on the dread and the vindi and squeeze in another Strike squad. I think having a couple halberds is ok in a SS.. two psycannons for sure.. and I think the justicar has to have a daemonhammeer, and like James said.. MC for the 5 points.

At least typing this out has made watching the nuck/hawk game less sttressful.. Eeeks.. still to close for comfort.

Quick Question are the nemesis swords a two handed weapon. Have owned a sword I find it quite easy to use a two handed sword with one hand pretty easy. So if the sword is a two or one handed sword will the troop then get the bonus close combat attack?

The swords are one handed weapons.. but they only come equipped with a storm bolter and a sword.. you don't get a bonus attack for having a storm bolter and a one handed weapon.. you need a pistol for that.

Nemesis falchions grant you +1 attack though... and you still keep your storm bolter. Each of the nemesis weapons have their own special rule.
