New to the Saskatoon scene

Hey my name is Chris
Just moved back to Saskatoon in november from Vancouver where I finally had extra money to start warhammer about 2 years ago.
Back when I lived here I was playing magic the gathering at Readers bookshop on second ave and saw the warhammer stuff in the basement
growing up and always wanted to play so here goes. I have about a 4000 to 5000 point Spacewolf army and about a 1300 point Grey knight army
and tons of bits from various different races like tau eldar nids and such. Im looking for tournaments and just regular games pretty much anytime
and would love to know if there are like painting days or times people normaly meet up for games/events.

Wednesday is the usual 40K night at the Den. Smackman is starting up a league (looks like its focused on Doubles) in a few weeks, so that's a good way to meet most of the regulars. I'm running a 4-man team tournament in late June, and Canadin just ran a 1500 pt tournament last weekend. His next one is in August. Also, Dusktiger is running a Badab War campaign (from Imperial Armour 9&10) if you are interested. Just check the Current Events subforum or the Hunters League one and that will show all the various threads.

Last year there was a regular painting day on Sunday (I think), but I don't think there's a regular day going now.
