Grey Knight Rumours

Sounds like my kind of army. And might be in time for my birthday...

Ya....as much as I dont need another 40k army, they are sounding more and more like my kind of army.

I have heard that they are supposed to be the extreme of the elite army....which means to me that you will be running a very low model count....which means less to paint.


Now I just need to hope that they come out with some kick ass plastic kits...

Some of the other rumors are that they Grey Knights are going down to str 5 but getting furious charge.
I also heard that melta guns and plasma guns are going to be availible to the models in power armor.
Plus transports! Rhino's, Razorbacks, and drop pods oh my!
And the big one is that a basic trooper in pa is going to be less then 25 points each!

The rumours are pretty awesome.. and ar ebeing confirmed by a few different sources so hard to beleive most of what we've heard will go into effect. The 2 wound, 2+/3+ armour with a re-roll if you fail terminators with Feel no Pain still seem pretty out there though...

Bell of lost Souls just posted theproposed rumours for the Vidicare.. wowza. Unlimited special ammo.. with the exitus rifle rumours to be Ap1 and rending. Plus, BS 8. Special ammo doesnt look to be changing that much.. The shield breaker is rumoured though to render invulnerable saves useles for the rest of the game... although Im not sure if it completely ignores invulnerable saves to begin with, or if you only lose your invulerable save if you fail it from the shot. After all, all shots are going to penetrate armour.. pretty cool though.

Is that the only assassin to be changed or are all four getting redone?

Ya just did three quick mach battle with 5 Grey Knight terminators with 2/3 Armour saves with the re-roll and feel no pain. Against 5 SM terms with lightning claws and a Land raider and another 5 basic SM terms with an Assault Cannon, this group also accompanied by a Land Raider(Crusader).
First two scenarios battles the Grey nights only lose one. And the last and third scenarios the Grey nights lose 4 BUT STILL WIN. And yes I only moved the Land Raiders only 6 that way a Crusader could fire every thing.
Now this either shows that I suck at tosing dices or that a Grey Night terminator with 2/3 amour saves with a re roll and feel no pain are just f_cking stupid hard to kill....
That being said I think roomers are roomers. But I can't wait to see some new models coming out. Hopefully more plastic ones.
