ok i prime my models ready to basecoat. But how exactly, i prime with black(hand applied)(starting to prime) mostly, sometimes white(primed). I use foundation paints as my base coat but i can never get the specs of black and white out, i dont water it down(am i supposed 2?) but after like 3 coats of foundation paint it never gets out, i did it once but it took me like 4 hours to basecoat it and i applied like 12 coats. what am i doing wrong Question

If your priming your models, and the primer is completely covering the model, foundation paint should cover everthing completely, in one coat. Even if you were priming manually, the foundatiuon paint should still cover everything in one coat. I even water mine down a bit and it still goes on bright.

Did your paints freeze at all? I had a couple paint get really cold before and it messed up their consistency big time.

Almost hate to ask such a simple question, but are you guys shaking the paint before using it?
