so whats the best way to strip a model? my winged tyrant is finally getting a codex update along with a new paint job but stripping the paint is not going well.

"Simple Green" is fantastic. I use it all the time. On plastic models just use a toothbrush under some running water and with metal I do the same then use a little fine steel wool to finish up. Works awesome. I soak my models for at least a day, but usually a week.

how bad of an idea is paint remover? I've got a 3rd ed zoanthrope that was painted with something but it won't come off...

paint stripping stuff melts plastic, don't touch that stuff.

Easy Off Oven Cleaner works really well for stuff that's not coming off with simple green, it won't wreck the model and it only needs to soak for about 6 hours, and then just tooth brush it under the tap.

put it in simple green for 1.5 days then use an old tooth brush to get the paint off

where do you get simple green? i hit up walmart but they didnt have any.

Canadian Tire has Simple Green in the 4L jugs for $8 or something like that, almost everywhere carries easy off
