Yeah Yeah, I know this isn't 40k, I just don't care. I've allways loved the idea of evil mutated rats, but the models never really inspire me... untill now!!!

Yes .....Pascal's Evil Space Rat Army....The long lost less cousins of the space wolves....

heh... I don't think I would ever run a space rat army. I do really like the mini's for fantasy, but mostly because they look a lot more like rats than their comic descendants, and they match a lot of the story and art I have seen of Skaven (the dark gothic look of the art and story from back in the Drakkenwalds fluff, when I used to read that stuff from my brother's british white dwarfs of the 80s when I was a kid).

Space rats are not, and never will be cool. I have a box of plague monks, and i have never been able to successfully convert them into anything that remotely fits the 40k universe. I couldnt even get them into the LaTD army that i was working on. No matter what you do they always look like rats.
However, i think they are very cool in the warhammer world, and would be at the top of my list for fantasy armies if i ever decided to play that system.

I don't know why but one 40K model that comes to mind when I look at the skaven is the dark eldar grotesque's. Just an idea I had about what they could be converted in to.
