Tyranids Empty Tyranids

For my genestealers should i guve them acid maw or flesh hooks? My broodlord has the feeder tendrils so they re-roll misses.

My vote would be flesh hooks all the way.. that init 6 is garbage if the marines are holing up in ruins or trees...

another vote for flesh hooks. Can also move over impassable terrain if i remember right

Give the flesh hooks to the lord, it's cheaper and it counts towards the squad so you can still take an upgrade for the stealer

Im guessing your referencing the Broodlord? If you give the Broodlord flesh hooks, the rest of the squad get it for free?

Im not sure at all. I can check my nid book when I get home. They havent been doing such things with the new books, but with the Nid book being a bit older, nothing would surprise me. It good if it does work like that.. but we'll double check it first.

it says that any model equipped with flesh hooks counts as having frag grenades in close combat. Being it says any model i would assume that means that they can't go through impassible terrain as only the lord has them. however it does say that any model equipped with frag grenades doesn't suffer the penalty... so I guess I have been playing my broodlord wrong this entire time...

what i was thinking was have the lord with fedder tendrils so the sqaud can re-roll misses, then have acid maw re-roll to wound but they are already putting in tones of to wound it would just be mean. So flesh hooks also count as being equipped with frag gernades. so i am going to go with flesh hooks.
