GW revealed a new white dwarf subscriber model, but from 40k!



Is this perhaps a taste of things to come? (pure squat fan speculation)

I like it! But I do think it is just a joke, even if they do send it to subscribors. A definate collectors item. The Grot's alien mask is Aces!

There not bringing back squats. Rumor mill is that Forge world is going to do something for fantasy, kinda like the DKoK and Elysian drop troops but maybe Chaos Dwarfs or a Far East style army.

But no Squats.

Ah but Scot, they have said a lot of things. A cool sculpt is like a gateway drug, once youve had a taste, you want more!

I know there is little to no chance for squats, but this brings back warm fuzzy memories.

I am not a fan of the dwarfs helmet that is at his feet.

I do think this is just a teaser as well.. but just the fact they opted to do a teaser is enough.

I still have a whole epic squat army at home.. I think Ill go home and massage it a bit and think positive thoughts.

Hey Scott, are you still getting white dwarves? I wasnt supposed to, but I think they put us on a year subscription or something. I bought the last months only to open my mailbox a week later and get them. Last month I ended up getting two in the mailbox, plus the one I bought. that was freaking annoying. I sort of dont want a subscription so I can get this model!

Yeah I get em.....

I had the WD delivered to my house, my work, and my old house at one point. GW Canada was pretty poor at the whole organizing thingy. I managed to get them to quit sending it to my house, and my old house, and got them to keep sending it at work. This was 'cause the mailman would bend it and wreck anything inside at home, but I got it delivered into my hand at work.

So after I quit GW, they kept sending it. I was fine with that until i got the screw job back in April from prairie meats and now I am at the other location on Millar Ave. So now I get WD still sent to my old work, and I get to hear about it all the time. My boss told me to quit having my hobby =I=censor=I= sent to work. I tolds him that the company doesn't exist, I have no number to phone, and if it's a big deal he can throw them in the garbage as I shouldn't be getting them anyway.

I get to repeat this conversation every month.

Oh well. Hopefully things get squared around at work here PDQ. I got ANOTHER meeting with the honchos and it sounds like it's gonna be a good one for me. But I shouldn't get my hopes up.

Anyway. No way do they come out with squats when they have so much other 40k stuff to do. I believe the FW fantasy rumors 'cause it makes sense for FW to start making stuff for the other portion of their potential customers. But not squats. Not in a world where everyone moves 6 inches.
